Pic of the Day - "Days End"

I took this at the end of the day whilst testing the little 18-35mm nikkor on the 14n. First results are very favorable and its nice to have a wide angle lens on a FF sensor to get the benefit of the FOV.

Playing with Chinese Lanterns

Its amazing the colour and form one can find in nature....this a crop from a shot of the seed pod known here as a "Chinese Lantern". Shot at ISO 6 with the 14n which provides very detailed noise free images at that setting.

Talking to Albert on the Kodak SLR forum over at dpreview got me all nostalgic thinking about my wilder more adventurous days.
